Polypodium Leucotoms extracts or fern-block is a powerful antioxidant, containing high content of phenolic compounds. It inhibits generation and release of reactive oxygen species by ultraviolet light.It also help prevent against DNA damage and accelerate the removal of UV-induced photo products.
It also helps prevent inflammation, immunosuppression, and protects against damage from visible light and infrared radiation.
It blocks uv-induced damage to fibroblast cells producing collagen and elastin and keratinocytes.
