Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector Targeted Areas Body Cream 200ml is a targeted moisturising treatment developed to improve the appearance of dark marks, uneven skin tone and rough, thickened skin on the body, particularly around the elbows and knees. Formulated with Thiamidol, Eucerin’s patented pigmentation-targeting ingredient, it helps reduce excess melanin production and gradually improve the appearance of hyperpigmentation. The formula also combines Lactic Acid for gentle exfoliation, Panthenol to support the skin barrier and Hyaluronic Acid for hydration. With consistent use, it helps promote smoother, softer and more even-looking skin in areas affected by friction, dryness and post-inflammatory pigmentation.

Darkening around the elbows and knees is often associated with friction, dryness and post-inflammatory pigmentation. I recommend addressing both the pigmentation and the underlying irritation or skin thickening. Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector Targeted Areas Body Cream combines Thiamidol with exfoliating and hydrating ingredients, making it a useful option for localised dark marks. Persistent, velvety or rapidly developing darkening should be assessed to exclude other causes.

What is Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector Targeted Areas Body Cream used for?
It helps reduce the appearance of dark marks, roughness and uneven skin tone on localised body areas.
Can it help with dark elbows and knees?
Yes. It is particularly designed for areas such as the elbows and knees, where friction and thickened skin may contribute to darkening.
Does it contain Thiamidol?
Yes. Thiamidol is a pigmentation-targeting ingredient that helps reduce excess melanin production.
Does it exfoliate the skin?
Yes. It contains Lactic Acid, an alpha-hydroxy acid that helps remove dead surface skin cells and improve rough texture.
How long does it take to see results?
Improvement is gradual and depends on the cause and depth of pigmentation. Consistent use over several weeks is generally needed, and stubborn pigmentation may require additional treatment.
Can I use it on my underarms or inner thighs?
These areas may be more sensitive to friction and exfoliating ingredients. Check the manufacturer's approved application areas and avoid use on mucosal surfaces or irritated skin. Seek dermatological advice for persistent pigmentation.
Is it suitable for darker skin tones?
Yes. It may be useful for post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation in skin of colour, provided the formula is well tolerated and irritation is minimised.
Can I combine it with other Eucerin Thiamidol products?
Yes, but follow Eucerin's recommendation of no more than four total applications of Thiamidol-containing products per day.
Will it lighten my natural skin colour?
It is intended to improve the appearance of excess pigmentation rather than change your natural skin tone.
Can it treat acanthosis nigricans?
It may help improve some surface pigmentation, but it does not treat the underlying cause of acanthosis nigricans, which may be associated with insulin resistance or other medical conditions.
