Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector Dual Serum 30ml is a targeted pigmentation serum formulated with Thiamidol and Hyaluronic Acid to help reduce the appearance of dark spots, improve uneven skin tone and boost skin hydration. Thiamidol works by inhibiting tyrosinase, an enzyme involved in melanin production, helping to reduce existing pigmentation and limit its recurrence with continued use. Hyaluronic Acid provides hydration for smoother, plumper-looking skin, while the lightweight serum supports a brighter, more even-looking complexion. Suitable for different skin tones, it can be incorporated into a daily skincare routine addressing sun-induced dark spots, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and uneven pigmentation.

Benefits

  • Contains Thiamidol to target dark spots and excess pigmentation.
  • Helps reduce the appearance of uneven skin tone.
  • Supports a brighter, more radiant-looking complexion.
  • Contains Hyaluronic Acid to improve skin hydration.
  • Helps reduce the recurrence of dark spots with consistent use.
  • Suitable for different skin tones.
  • Complements a comprehensive pigmentation skincare routine.

Thiamidol targets tyrosinase, an enzyme involved in melanin production, making it useful for managing hyperpigmentation. I recommend combining Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector Dual Serum with consistent sun protection, particularly for melasma and post-inflammatory pigmentation. For skin prone to recurrent pigmentation, a tinted sunscreen containing iron oxides may offer additional visible-light protection.

What is Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector Dual Serum used for?

It is designed to help reduce dark spots, improve uneven skin tone and support skin hydration.

What is Thiamidol?

Thiamidol is Eucerin's patented ingredient, also listed as Isobutylamido Thiazolyl Resorcinol. It inhibits human tyrosinase, helping reduce excess melanin production.

Can Eucerin Dual Serum help with melasma?

It may help improve the appearance of melasma-related pigmentation as part of a broader management plan that includes daily sun protection.

How long does it take to see results?

Eucerin reports visible improvement from approximately two weeks with regular use. More persistent pigmentation may take longer to improve.

Can it help with post-acne dark marks?

Yes. It may help reduce the appearance of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation left behind after acne lesions have healed.

Is it suitable for darker skin tones?

Yes. It can be used across different skin tones. Avoiding irritation and using appropriate photoprotection are particularly important in skin prone to post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

Can I combine it with Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector Day Cream SPF 30?

Yes. Apply the serum first, followed by the day cream, while observing the manufacturer's maximum of four daily applications of Thiamidol-containing products.

Can it be used with retinol or tretinoin?

It may be incorporated into a routine containing retinoids, depending on skin tolerance. Introduce products gradually and seek professional advice if irritation occurs.

Is sunscreen necessary when using Eucerin Dual Serum?

Yes. Daily broad-spectrum sunscreen is essential for managing pigmentation and reducing recurrence.

Will pigmentation disappear permanently?

Not necessarily. Conditions such as melasma are often recurrent, and ongoing maintenance skincare and photoprotection may be required.
