Eucerin Aquaphor Soothing Skin Balm 88.9ml is an intensive, water-free balm formulated to soothe, protect and support the recovery of very dry, cracked, irritated or compromised skin. It forms a semi-occlusive protective layer over the skin, helping reduce transepidermal water loss (TEWL) while allowing the skin barrier to recover.

The rich balm is particularly useful on areas prone to persistent dryness and cracking, including the lips, hands, cuticles, elbows, knees and heels. It can also be applied to smaller areas of irritated or compromised skin where additional barrier protection is needed.

Eucerin Aquaphor Soothing Skin Balm is an excellent occlusive option for very dry, cracked or barrier-compromised skin. The combination of Panthenol, Glycerin and Bisabolol helps hydrate and soothe, while the ointment base reduces transepidermal water loss. I particularly recommend it for dry lips, cracked hands, cuticles, heels and localised dry patches. It can also be useful after superficial dermatological procedures once the skin has fully re-epithelialised.

Apply Eucerin Aquaphor Soothing Skin Balm as often as needed to clean, dry skin.

For extremely dry areas, apply a generous layer and gently massage into the skin. When layering with a moisturiser, apply your moisturiser first and Aquaphor afterwards as the final occlusive layer.

For lips, cuticles and small dry patches, reapply throughout the day as required.

Avoid applying to open, actively bleeding or infected wounds. Persistent, painful, weeping or unexplained skin changes should be medically assessed.

Can Eucerin Aquaphor Soothing Skin Balm be used on the face?

Can I use Eucerin Aquaphor every day?
Yes. It can be used daily and reapplied as often as required on dry areas.

Is Aquaphor a moisturiser?
It acts primarily as an occlusive barrier rather than a conventional moisturising cream. It helps prevent water from escaping from the skin, which is why it can work particularly well when applied over moisturised skin.

Can I use it for cracked heels?
Yes. Apply generously to the heels, particularly at night. Applying it after a moisturising foot cream can provide additional occlusion.

Can I use Eucerin Aquaphor on dry lips?
Yes. Its occlusive properties make it particularly useful for dry and chapped lips.

Is Eucerin Aquaphor suitable for sensitive skin?
